He added the district is noted for revenue mobilisation and was happy when the Coordinating Director said some of the staff are on the field undertaking the GIZ project which will go a long way to help in the revenue mobilisation of the district. He further said when the Mpohor road is constructed it would be just a ten minutes drive from Takoradi. He emphasized that Mpohor Dist. could be become a residential area sometime to come as it's in East Legon Hill.
He admonished staff present that the government alone cannot do it all and therefore the need for the private sector to also support in creating jobs for the citizens in curbing total dependency on the working population. He spoke on the new Town Council due to too much dirt in the city and region for example in the various lorry stations. He spoke on the timely submissions of both quarterly and annual reports to the WRCC. They moved on to inspect various construction projects in the district especially the agenda 111. The District Chief Executive, gave his remarks expressing his kindest gratitude and he said staff is ever ready to support the government of the day and similarly their statutorily duties.
